Having always led a fast-paced, semi-neurotic, and adventure-filled lifestyle, I have finally found something that not only calms and centers me, but also allows me to give back to society: YOGA – the union of the left and right, the yin and yang, the awareness of breath. My name is Jen Wen. My yoga roots began in Astanga Yoga, where I received my teaching certificate with Greenpath Yoga in San Francisco. The yoga that I share is built around Astanga and Hatha — building strength, flexibility, and flow. My practice is built around conscious breathing, holding the postures, and going inward. I also incorporate and encourage self-expression, energy/chakra awareness, and meditation – tools which can be used in your own life on a daily basis. These sessions are for you to open your body and connect with your breath, leaving the studio feeling refreshed, relaxed, andrenewed.
